Friends if Chambal and Shipra Express will again given back to Allahabad Junction and would be made to reach Mughalsarai via PFM-JNH-BSB route. Wouldn't it provide respite to passengers travelling to howrah from Allahabad or to GWL JHS INDB BPL UJN,this will save time since the train gets too late from Mirzapur side

No time saving. These trains more or less runs on time till MGS . Rather condition will deteriorate if it is made to run via BSB - ALD. . Secondly talking about Chambal it travels via MKP - JHS single line section. So delay is confirmed . Morever Shipra too is a late runner.

Actually the problem is that between BDL and COI the train each day loses around 90 min plus 30 min for loco change at COI, travelling to Allah a bad and following another route would be beneficial since it would save time and provide a good train to carpet city Bhadohi.

Bro , these trains ( Shipra /Chambal ) earlier used to travel via ALD & during that time their punctuality were horrible. These trains had to undergo rake reversals + Loco change at ALD which took huge time plus you know better about NCR controlling ( ALD - MGS ). Even Imperial ( Mumbai ) Mail also had the same condition . So , in order to decongest ALD & improve their punctuality these trains are now running via COI. Though punctuality has improved from past but still they runs late & then the ALD - BSB route also not that reliable due to single line section in many areas. So , its better to run this trains on their existing route .

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
