Shailvee Sharda May 30, 2011, 03.31pm IST LUCKNOW: The Indian Railways is working to redesign the way the food is being served to passengers on the board. Plans are afoot to set up proper base kitchens at the station level and upgrade pantry cars with modular facilities to serve as storage and serving centres. Senior divisional commercial manager (freight), northern railway's Lucknow division, Pratul Gupta inspected Lucknow's Charbagh railway station and said, "preparations are on to set up modular kitchens to provide home-like food to passengers in the near future."
