A station can be upgraded to A1 station if it genaretes annual revenue of 60crore or more. So according to this criteria, BARDHAMAN, MALDAH TOWN and KOLKATA TERMINUS should be upgraded to A1 station as early as possible. What do u all say??????

No bro u have just told the opposite situation....... BWN has less number of trains (147) as compared to DHN (186) [also in terms of no of passing trains , BWN=62, DHN=106]. Also avg pax in DHN per day is 3times greater than that of BWN still BWN gets 4crore more revenue than DHN.....So according to your 1st point BWN should have been upgraded b4 DHN by IR
But I agree with your 2nd point. ER prefers ASN over BWN due to its position as BWN is quite close and well connected with HWH......Also ASN serves for many adjoing districts also

Bro use a bit of common sense!
How can DHN have more trains than BWN?
More importantly passenger traffic is BWN & DHN are not same.
While the no of AC passengers in DHN maybe more than BWN the overall passengers in BWN is higher than DHN.

If DHN has more AC pax than BWN then it should have more income than DHN which is not the scenerio and if I use my common sense then I think DHN should have more pax than DHN
trains from BWN goes to - BHP, HWH, SDAH,, DGR
trains from DHN goes to - ASN, JSME, RNC, GAYA, BRKA, ADRA
The only reason to

support DHN being a A1 and BWN being a A class station can be that DHN reached 50crore benchmark b4 BWN and hence was upgraded to A1 b4 BWN but the growth rate of BWN is much higher than DHN and so now the revenue of BWN is greater than DHN.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
