Had been to SBC this morning, was really surprised to see 16235 with WDP 4d, couldn't note down shed and road number since I was in a hurry, but was sure that it was 16235. A huge offline, coz I've never seen an emd on sbc-sa line, even 11013/14 which get emd between SBC and ltt gets alco in sbc sa line, so was really surprised. EMD through ghats around Dharmapuri will be quite a sight, with multiple curves..
Even, 16231 - Mayiladuthurai - Mysore Express was with GOC WDP4 B / D (not sure but yellow stripe was there) today..... Regular link of Twin Alco's were missing... Had been to drop my cousin to BNC and this train arrived BNC around 5:45 AM...
That makes it even more curious, as I said, EMDs on this route are quite rare, after losing twin alcos with the king 12627, now this is worrying if 16235/31 lose out on twin alcos.
Yes even 11013 is now getting GOC WDP4D #40100 betweenSBC-CBE-SBC. Noticed on 12/4/17.
Even 12677/78 is getting an EMD. So another twin alco link lost permanently!
