One special train was introduced recently from VSKP to Allahabad but it is discontinued now. When we visited Varanasi and Allahabad sometime back from Visakhapatnam, we had some difficulties catching connecting trains at Raipur on one way and at Ranchi from the other way. I found lot of people (piligrims) at Allahabad and Varanasi from Andhra coastal regions. I am sure they too might have had some difficulties or might have travelled on longer routes wasting lots of time. I do not know if 18311 can be extended to Visakhapatnam because of any operational difficulties but some new train to Varanasi or Haridwar (Via Raipur, Katni) from VSKP would ease people's travel from this region. 11 posts - Sat Aug 27, 2011 - are hidden.
