Bhai the situation of VSG is only getting worse. Sure Goa is getting many new trains but how many for Vasco?
Also except PNBE VSG all Vasco trains run via Braganza Ghats where the maximum coach capacity is reduced to 20. Take for example Amaravati express running full but only 16 coaches those are overcrowded but they can't add more coaches due to slip and 20 coach limit in Ghats. VSG platforms can accommodate 24 coach trains but not even one 24 coach train here.
VSG is only connected to New...
more... Delhi by Goa express which takes a very long route 250 kms extra then the shortest one.
Goa Mumbai is a busy route and many commuters are from Vasco area but no single train available for Vasco.
It's the largest city and industrial capital of Goa but its thousand miles behind Madgaon when it comes to Rail connectivity.
Madgaon should have been developed as a major Junction and Vasco as a major Terminal but sadly both roles played by Madgaon and VSG is just a secondary terminal.
A small state like Goa should have been entirely covered by a single zone.
