What do you mean - no hurry? People of Kerala and TN are angry and you are saying "no hurry". Already so many deadlines missed. Now new one is August not 2018.
August will be needed, because many Sabarimala special trains can take this route during Sabarimala season.

Don't dream like this.we will get completion this project soon
During the rainy season work cannot be done in this hilly region.Work can be speeded up only after October.So completion of track laying and linking ,engine trial,CARS inspection will consume a lot of time.So it will be not before APRIL 2018 to see the passenger trains running on this section .The govts of TN and KERALA are not bringing any pressure on the Railway .
