How contrary this Rajdhani Exp has been compared to Rajdhanis which connect cities like Mumbai or Calcutta to New Delhi, though as per Bangalore has also been developed as a high class Metro City. From Patna/Calcutta/Mumbai if u take a Rajdhani to reach the Capital, your journey is so brief that it starts on an evening & by the morning u're there in the Capital. You take the train, enjoy a delicious dinner, have good snap, wake up,have breakffast & there you're,New Delhi is ready to welcome u. Where as the distance is likely to be 800 kms more while you travel from Bangaloreto Delhi, but the time taken is almost a day extra, which u've to spend on the train when comparing with other Metro Connecting Rajdhanis. Is it fare....???
Moreover
...
there should be a noteable difference in Journey time, when u're travelling in Rajdhani & not in an Ordinary Mail/Exp train.Take for eg,Kolkata/Mumbai,where in Other trains u've to spend a full day in train,in Rajdhani ,its just a matter of one night. But is there a huge difference in time when we compare trains like Karnataka Sampark Kranti or Karnataka Exp with the Respected Bangalore Rajdhani.....???
Moreover when Economy Class Airlines like Spicejet & kingfisher are providing tickets for Delhi from Bangalore which is just more than the AC 2 Tier Fare & cheaper than the 1A,I think the Railways should seriously look into speeding up this train.

Very true-the first 700kms strech of the track is hauled by diesel power before shifting to Electric-and also the strech till Secunderabad is majorly single an dpartly double and has some small ghats and gradients too to be crossed-so considering so many aspects this train is quite good with its performance overall-and overall you lose only one working day where you would well lose 1/2 a woking day travelling by flight(Even if its a 6:30 flight from NDLS, you need to be there at airport by 5:30, then travel for about 2 hrs reaching Bangalore at about 9 in the peak hour and by the time you reach your place in Bangalore it will be well over 11 if traffic is not too bad and place is close to the airport or just inside the city-and you need to get up by 4 in the morning too for reaching airport)

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
