I had booked a ticket with PNR no 8358360626 from LTT to BSL. This train was late for more than 3 hours and so I filed a TDR for refund.
This TDR was rejected and I got the mail as below;

No endoresemnt from SM is required in E-ticket.
I have applied for TDR due to late running over 3 hous.
50% refund comes after within 1 week & rest 50% will after 3 months.
Railway has records that train was late by more than 3 hours & you have not travellr.

Yes, I applied well within the stipulated period. As soon as I got the mail for rejection of my TDR, I mailed them back asking for the reason and no reply came. Right now also I am waiting for it.
BTW, which train u r talking about??? Is that one of the trains, which departs late regularly, owing to Nexalite Zone Run???
Yes Vinay... apparently I was not aware of this. It seems the train 12879 runs late all the time. Does it make any difference in TDR processing?
Yes, coz as per IR, the information has been displayed long back before departure & in such case, TDR processing isnt applied as train running 3 hrs late!!
