Yes Sir, you are right. The RM while reading out the 2012 IR Budget in Parliament may & should also state the work of track doubling & electrification done during the past budget year .... Great, now I have to remain patient :-)

You are 100% right Sir. I am with IRI Site since Mid 2010 as a Guest Blogger in those days. The 2010 & 2011 IR Budgets were not much exciting for me to discuss on this site as much as the 2009 IR Budget was. It was then RM Ms. Banerjee's 1st IR Budget in UPA-2 Govt(when Duronto Trains were announced by her for the 1st time). Some of my friends and I discussed that Budget with full joy in our college during that time.

Sure Railfan Sir.Railway budgets were exciting events those days.Esp when new initiatives were taken up by RM ,like Drnt,Raj,etc apart from track doubling,gauge conversion ,computerisation,better amenities..etc
Let's hope we do get some good news which can be shared among all of us.
