Blog Entry# 282810 Posted: Nov 15 2011 (11:59AM) 37 Responses Last Response: Nov 15 2011 (4:00PM) Sir i have seen admin those who are not actively using this site, to say there are some admin where their last login was somewhere around in July. My suggestion is that to remove the admin rights from them those who have not logged in for the past one month 27 posts - Tue Nov 15, 2011 - are hidden. Click to open. New thoughts makes things perfect my dear, everybody has their own work and they are contributing effectively, Nov 15 2011 (1:48PM) ↑⇑ ↓⇓ ←→ Kota Jhalawar Pass is must** 7361 blog posts 14899 correct pred (62% accurate) ![]() hmmm.... reading all these i would like to tell you that admin are not paid servants.this post got by fortune with our devotion to this site. it is an clear understanding to do voluntary service and no biomatrix system to put full attendance like a govt doc in general hospital...with best wishes to encourage ppl than fighting for others Thanks for the discussion and the consideration for the well-being of this site. In the past, people have made various suggestions to mitigate "load on the servers", "conserve resources" etc. Such concerns don't apply here. The technology we use on this site can be considered on par with Google or Facebook. Our servers can scale indefinitely, and are able to handle indefinite load - technology resources have never been a constraint on this site. Consider this world a land of plenty. There is no scarcity of anything here. There are many aspects of this site (and the internet in general) that are very different from that of the non-virtual world. A well described phrase to understand the rules and regulations for members/guests/admins.A lot of time this has been queried by members/guests as what are criteria to become admin. Please add this to FAQ section,so that future queries can be directed to that link.would certainly help everyone's time to explain the criteria. Thanks Sir :) Sir thanks for the valuable inputs which you have given, i am not on an impression that will be server load just going through the members list i noted some admin was not even logged in from April2011 my intention is not to remove the members from the site but to remove the admin rights those who have logged in for a long time to say more than 3 months this will make the site decorum and disciplined. Anyhow thanks for your reply I think the two stars next to your name attach a lot of pride/prejudice. This is typical desi mindset (and we all are part of it) where we like designations attached to our names. I feel if the star system can be changed to something different where you actually cannot make out who is admin and who is member should benefit (and save us from another similar discussion). Again, this is just a suggestion IN SOME PLACES dress code is important in the same way our/the stars well said thank you,but still he could not understand/stood fully Sir i have understand the things perfectly Blog Entry Archived. Thanks for the discussion. Hope all queries have been addressed. |
