Hi,
With reference to PNR 443-6390396 Yesterday(18.12.2011), I undertook a journey to Mysore(MYS) from Bangalore City Junction(SBC).
As discussed here with few members/admins SBC-MYS was taken by RajyaRani Express and Return was Shatabdhi(MYS-MAS, till SBC).
As suggested by My friend, For return journey Reserved ticket and i was alloted Seat according to the PNR mentioned above.
Let Me explain/share my UP Journey first:
At SBC Sangamitra was at PF 1, Added Extra SL and 3AC for Sunday run.

depart by 8.15AM from SBC(PF No.7),But Mr/Mrs. TPTY-CMNR F.Passenger which was supposed to depart earlier to this and same was delayed at SBC arrival, My train left aroound 8.25 From SBC. SBC-MYS-SBC route few of Express trains which runs from SBC to UBL,SMET,SUR are made as Express trains with unreserved coaches Where SL will be opened for General Ticket Holders and AC will be locked. As RajyaRani has RSA with Hampi even I was benifited with SL class travel for General Ticket of Rs.42(Note: SL fare from SBC-MYS is around Rs.60 + Reservation Fees)..
Train started and increased its speed,resulting with few mins train was at KENGERI station. Later on had few unexpected halts for technical issues at BIDADI and one more station for 2mins or so... Reached Ramanagaram and it was the destination for few passengers. As started from Ramanagaram, I remembered about my breakfast and I'm surving with a cup of tea from 5am(This is Because, to reach SBC at the earlist at to take Ticket and to select EMERGENCY WINDOW SEAT AT SIDE LOWER BERTHS,But till MYS i was only Passenger to Two seats) I felt, More than passengers Local Unautorised Vendors Sell food for resonable rates with Food hotness, Ended with Coffee,2 Idlis and 2 MADDUR VADA at MADDUR. At each station train was slowed to 10-15km/hr as Doublification Work is going on...
Crossed MANDYA and PANDAVAPURA... Again train was slow down as approching Srirangapantna(S), Where S station is having River Kaveri at bothside of Platform end with "U" Shape. Reached Mysore Outer 5mins early and was made to wait 10mins for TIPPU Express departure.Resulted 5mins LATE arrival at MYS station(PF 3)
At MYS station YPR Special was ready to depart from PF1(RSA with DWR-MYS, YPR-BAGALKOT BASAVA EXPRESS). My friend was waiting for me and we two moved to RAIL MUESUM which very near to Mysore Junction Station.
@ Rail Museum
Museum had YDM4(6200) for display and few Steem Loco's with various kind of Coaches(Medical, Inspection, SLR,MAHARANI SALOON and TOY TRAIN,which was occupied by adults)...
Museum authority allowed all visitors to enter LOCO's Rake etc.
I'll post few of the snaps taken at Rail Museum(Discussion can be carried after posting Photo's)...
Return Journey :
On saturday while Reserving ticket for Return Journey there was aroung 110 seats available, Even same was appearing at CHART, By Coach was C7 and Chart was displaying only passenger till SBC.
As Me and My friend was busy with loco attachment at another side to Take Rakes towards SBC, I coundn't notice the rush at the earlier, And when i entered the coach(before 3-4 mins of departure) it was difficult to find single Vacant seat available,as it was full with CURRENT BOOKED PASSENGERS and RESERVED PASSENGER. Train departred 2min late and Same repeated with Slow down at each intermediate station for 10-15km/hr. As Train started 1 litre of water, 2 Marie biscuits and REAL MANGO Juice was served with Smiley face. 12008's LHB RAKE, and effect of AC as well as Continous walk made me to take a nap of 30mins. When i opened my eyes after NAP, train was halted at RAMANAGARAM station,Where almost 1hours journey of LHB Rake was taken by nap. Within 5mins, train started and Overtook One more YPR Express(departure from MYS at 13.30) at HEJJALA station and crossed TIPPU EXPRESS BOUND TO Mysore. Crossed KENGERI, JNANABHARATHI station with good speed,where few of them couldn't notice the station which passed.
Almost my Trip was coming to an End, 12008 reached SBC 5mins early, Where all passengers of C7 got down.
Spent around 20mins at SBC and returned to My Home...
Note : 12008 had more passengers Bound to SBC with CURRENT BOOKING, Few of them were complained that the MYS PRS was not proper/ SERVER DOWN? resulting they were supposed to pay EXCESS FARE for TTE.
TTE Was a north Indian guy(Base Work Location MAS) Where he couldn't understand either Tamil or Kannada. Because of SERVER PROBLEM, TTE was busy till SBC on giving Excess FARE RECEIPTS. For Excess Fare collection, He used a Book/Form which had few unused receipts. When passenger No. was high than Available receipts, He managed with 3-4 passengers in Single receipts. Took a phone call for SBC/MAS to arrange sufficient number of Receipt book before boarding 12007/8 next time...

I think it is an older system for passing the train from station. I don't know much but i feel it should be like all trains were given a token, if any train is crossing station B than it will drop pass token taken from station A and take new token for station C. This is the machine which revalidates the token.
