Blog Entry# 324147 Posted: Jan 10 2012 (12:51PM) 31 Responses Last Response: Jan 11 2012 (12:24PM) Jan 10 2012 (12:51PM) Yesvantpur-Tirupati Tri Weekly Intercity/22617 ⇑ ↓⇓ ←→ Tejas** 4784 blog posts 3917 correct pred (62% accurate) ![]() -Here is trip report of my Journey to Tirupati. I decided on a Monday hoping that the crowd at Tirumala will be big. So 12543, Tpty express it was…and the class I opted was CC.My cousin was accompanying me as well. The train left YPR at 7.30 am from PF 4.Our coach was sandwiched between D6 and D7.Less than a minute into the journey I could see ERS special being towed into the platform from the parking space. I also happened to spot YPR-LKO exp at the parking lot standing beside HWH Duronto. So some other rakes are being used for YPR-ERS special and not the LKO exp rake as was presumed earlier in the blog forum. 2 mins later SC-YPR Garib rath was making its way towards YPR. -My mother was gracious enough to pack 2 chapati rolls each for... Read more... Thanx for the detailed writeup with good pictures too (especially rail bus one)....Though TPTY-CMNR FP takes much time, for sleeping well this train is a better option. I feel to pick good patronage, this YPR-TPTY should stop at WFD and JTJ also....what u say? 21 posts - Tue Jan 10, 2012 - are hidden. Click to open. Trip report or Food Report? Well written... Thanks for sharing :) Food has always been, and will always be an integral part of a train journey in India! Integral part ? It looks like THE PART :) Good one sir:) JTJ is not an official stop for this as per TT i guess. What loss it will make if given a stop at WFD or JTJ? I think it will increase patronage as at WFD one has to wait till 8:45 to catch 12610 to go towards JTJ/KPD as Lalbagh also skips that station. Point taken. But still the load factor wont be desirable..even if it stops at WFD,JTJ and Kuppam. Only Saturdays the train is abt 2/3rd filled. Some permanent solution has to be found. Wonder whats the status of CBE tpty?? Hope its better there! No. Patronage may be good if it stops at WFD, KPN and JTJ as i mentioned not many trains are there at WFD in morning. I have seen people going in 56213, 16519 to KJM and catching Lalbagh. I dont feel much patronage will be there for CBE-TPTY as distance is more and people may prefer night train from CBE/ED to TPTY as couple of train are there in night time plying in that route. nice trip report. |
