If I book a Tatkal paper ticket at Hyderabad for travel from Bhopal to Hyderabad, can I collect a duplicate paper ticket in lieu of that at Bhopal for travel?
The reason I'm asking is that booking tatkal thru internet is unpredictable, and I have some of my friends who can book a paper ticket at Hyd for me for my next day travel from Bhopal to Hyderabad.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Here is the reply from IR regarding the query of exceptional cases of duplicate tckts in Tatkal
Dear Sir,
With reference to your e-mail, the Commercial Branch of this Railway examined your mail and their remarks are as follows:
"The duplicate tickets are issued in exceptional cases on payment of full fare under the discretionary powers of the officer nominated at reservation office. Also, it should be proved that the incident its beyond the control of the passenger (like theft, fire, natural calamities etc) with adequate proof for the same."
Thanking you,
