I am booking a ticket from Chandrapur to Vijaywada, it shows 20 available, but when i go for booking it shows not avaiilable. If i book from Nagpur it again shows 20 available....
i want to know if i can board from chandrapur, but i will book ticket from nagpur to vijaywada. [the chart shows a stop of 2 mins at chandrapur]

I mean, you can select boarding poing from stations enroute of your Journey. For, Example if your ticket is from NGP-BZA, your boarding point could be NGP, SEGM, CD, BPQ, SKZR,WL, But it cannot be ET for example.

Please go through the blog properly before you reply to the comment posted by me.i had no where mentioned to book ticket from NGP.I had explained the original query of the blogger why it is not allowing to book the ticket from CD to BZA.If he wants to book ticket from CD he has purchase it till ongole the next stop for this train and get down at BZA.Also he can change boarding point while booking itself.Why run around PRS?

Trying to book a ticket online from A to B, with boarding at C shall direct the ticket against the quota of the boarding point and not the quota from where the original ticket has been purchased!!

Surprisingly it isnt. The mechanism followed by PRS is still unknown. Probably they change the boarding point to C immediately after booking the original ticket from A to B.
