There is a lot of variety in food of South India unlike North where people eat dal roti whole day. Kisi bhi restaurant me puchoge toh roti mil jayegi. Uske baare me chinta karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Don't expect anyone to speak in hindi fluently in Tamil Nadu. Most South Indians understand english. In case of emergency contact police right away.
