From Nimhans, koramangala is good place with affordable hotels from 1000/-.
Pretty decent and safe place with good food.
Koramangala is 2-3 bus stops (max 3kms) from Nimhans.

Yes. I had stayed in Koramangala and found that it is good for both lodging and good food. Wilson garden is good area but I dont remember hotel names.

Sir Wilson garden is very near to Nimhans. For hotels and lodges I will check and let you know. please let me know when you are arriving here. or you can do one thing... dial justdial service... 080-6999 9999... and ask them good hotels/lodges to stay in and around wilson garden. they will surely help you with best and affordable service.

Koramangala is 45-1 h away from Nimhans in peak hour traffic.
Although Wilson garden is next door, its not known to have good hotels.
To me Central Business District(CBD) still seems to be the better option.

Yeah, I remember that Wilsongarden doesn't have good hotels.
Koramangala, I felt better as it has really good food right opposite to FORUM.
Could find so many veggie hotels exclusively for food :P
