According to Newspapers, many members of Patna Passengers Association are saying that this train is not so much desired by them because they are finding Shalimar Station very far away from Calcutta City Centre. They also wanted routes like PNBE-NDLS or PNBE-CSTM for a Duronto Train instead of SHM-PNBE as existing trains like HWH-PNBE Jan Shatabdi etc are doing fine ;-I
