When this train was introduced, the engine was placed at the center and it used to Push bogies that are ahead and Pull bogies that were behind...But now it has normal passenger train alignment.. But the name stays as PUSH-PULL

Localitesl recognize this as push pull onyl even now though the name is lost long back-it was like a DMU rake with a Alco in the middle for support
