Hi,
Yesterday evening after returning from office Came to know that have holiday on Monday and decided visit SHIVAMOGGA... And While checking Seat availability in Train/Bus didn't got and Time was too limited for me reach Bus Stand .... Hence as opting Morning Journey from SBC-RRB by JS and MYS-TLGP ICE from RRB to SMET. Unfortunately Even In JanShatabdi Didn't get a confirmed berth.

As Decided at any cost I should Visit Shivamogga another Idea Which came In my mind was Take NightQueen from SBC-MYS. Wait for 2hrs take MYS-TLGP ICE till SMET...(This was a dream for me since 16206 Started...)

by 11Pm and Stood in General Ticket Queue Where already fight was going on With Ticketing Clerks and Passengers. After 40mins strugle got ticket for Mysore costing Rs.21... As Announcement was started NightQueen was about to leave from PF6 from SBC. Looking at crowd confirmed that If i try to enter Coach in QUeue need to Stand till Mysore and stood PF entry so that to enter any coach a train gets slowed....
Entered and got a seat too... Train was packed like, Even can't change your position for a while....
No Sleep... From 12 to 3 it was like Sitting above the Stove.....
Night Queen is a passenger train and about rush can't compromise at all.... Even train halted at all station more number of passengers were to Station S and MYS respectively...
Reached MYS by 3.40 around 20mins early. As reached had around 3 rounds of tea and started roaming all 6 PF of MYS Station. 16518 was the train which was about to reach by 4.15AM and reached ontime...
After 5AM CMNR Passenger departure from PF 4 My Second Part train was brought to PF 6.. For this train I had reservation in CC class... So roaming was continued till 5.50AM... 16206 had twin Gooty WDG4 + KJM DM3 Alco loco's.. Train started from MYS by 10mins late Immediately Sleep occupied me till Hollenarsipura, When TTE came to check my ticket.. After that HAS was next stop and Message was going with Ashok(Admin of IRI) regarding Loco link and Food respectively..
Reached HAS,No food at refreshment and got at ASK Station where train Stopped for more than 15mins... Those Gooty loco's were removed and Started towards RRB. Train took Complete 1.25 mins to reach RRB because of Goods train(around 3-4 Sets)... Again Sleep dragged me till, train was running between BDVT_SMET my last leg run was going on....
16206 Reached SMET PF 1 around 12.30 an 35min of delay....

Excellent narration. Today seems to be a trip report day in IRI. About one hour back I read beautiful report for long journey in Ist AC by Duranto and now the other end - a journey by general compartment. Certainly this site is fine tuning the literary skills of us, thanks to the examples by pkv sir. Great work. Keep posting.

Half Part with General and Half Part with CC(PNR 4438557009). Sir as SBC-SMET is 276 Km and Direct run would take max of 6.30mins... But I've opted Non Sense Round route to reach SMET
