Dhulian stands no where near Bihar. It is aplace in Murcshidabad district bordering the India-Bangladesh Territory from where actually the River Ganges divides into two parts. The major part as Padma goes into Bangladesh whereas the minor part enters West Bengal as Bhagirathi(Hooghly). This train's route is no where near Dhulian dear sir, this train is indeed known unofficially by locals right from pakur to jaynagar as dhuliyan passenger...i have also heard official announcements at stations referring it to as dhuliyan passenger aa rahi hai...i agree, official name is not dhuliyan...regarding geographic location, there are many trains which are named such that it does not touch the station it has derived its name from. |
