dear bhanu this is not a odd place .manikpur falls in chitrakoot district of up,i hope u know what chitrakoot is known for. as chitrakoot has no yard facilities so train runs upto manikpur a jn point for jhansi jn allahabad and jabalpur allahabad line.its just 20km from chitrakoot.this train is also considered as the lifeline of the backward region of bundelkhnd.also the slip portion of this serves khajuraho a unesco world heritage site famous allover the world.

No need to extend upto Allahabad.
Instead of extension of this train, a new bi-weekly train should run between Allahabad and Udhampur via same route upto Delhi, then Via Jind, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Pathankot, Jammu upto Udhampur.
This is a good suggestion.....and we have raised the demand for this train!!
