Today morning Mother and Daughter died after they hit by Simhadri express. Its all due to no foot over bridge at this station. More than 30 express train stops at this station...still u have to cross rails after you got down from any train which comes from BZA side.  Here is the news item of that accident. Baby of 1.5 years died and her mother in-law badly injured. As per the news item, from Plat form number 3 to No 1.In between on PF#2 there is a goods train stopped, as there is no FOB she crossed goods by going under it....But when she came out of goods GNT bound Simhadri express crashed her.. Baby died at the spot only. Women now in hospital in serious condition. This is what Duvvada station...which is alternate station for VSKP. Around 30 express trains stops here with any FOB. One has to cross tracks and if there is a Goods on the tracks then it will be much difficult for old people. 28 posts - Sat Mar 17, 2012 - are hidden. Thats why people are requesting in bifurcate waltair division to SCR for best service to passengers and good maintainence to trains. many express trains including SF trains stops at DVD. I dont is railways have any procedure for passenger safety. How come they are allowing more express trains to stop with out even basic facilities like FOB !! Yes deepthi gaaru very sad news. That 1 year old baby died now..who is responsible ? Hindu news /news/post/65248 Yes Gaurav its a minimal facility but not provided Yes RDB....But hindu not covered it full. The women also now serious. Hope she will be fine and get well soon. I am sure mentally she will be depressed with this accident. Bad to see these kind of incidents happen...FOB should be provided ASAP.People should be also careful while crossing.. Loosing a kid at a tender age will be heart breaking to her...Very sad..At least hope she survives... very sad to hear this news. it is a shame that a station like DVD has no FOB. how is it going on????? even D class stations have FOBs. the station should be closed for passenger traffic unless a FOB is constructed. this is negligence at its worst. Yes...DVD station should be closed for passenger trains halt until FOB gets constructed. Its all in the hands of railways...Whether they thinks about passenger safety or not. |
