Balharshah has got Base Kitchen facility and it cannot be removed. Even Rajdhanis and Durontos have a technical halt there. Chandrapur, being a small station can be removed. If people from Chandrapur city want to board this train, they can do some bus/taxi arrangement till Balharshah. Now, the road connectivity to Balharshah is something which can be improved ASAP. Or else, people from Chandrapur can board Dakshin SF Express.

30 minutes delayed departure from NDLS would again be not preferred by the authorities. Firstly that would mean overtake of Dakshin @ Palwal or Kosi Kalan & secondly the schedule of most trains running ahead of TN would require alteration since TN can not go on overtaking all trains which comes in its way.
IMHO TN is having a good schedule & should not be changed.

But at the same time, the overtake by YPR Duronto can be avoided.

Overtake by YPR duronto is a weekly affair and so it will not have much impact on running schedule of TN.
To avoid overtake of TN by Duronto one cannot make TN overtake 10 trains enroute by changing the schedule.

Agreed. I wish this train could run the way it used to run earlier when it was introduced. Anyway, it is still a great train.
