The slack between VZM - VSKP is too huge, around 1hr35mins!! But the Twin Diesels made up a terrific job n covered the 61km in no less than 55mins!! almost 52km was covered in no less than 35-40mins n the remaining 9km was covered in 10-15mins due to caution entrance. Amazing Job WDM's!! 16 posts - Sat Mar 31, 2012 - are hidden. Click to open. Actually I don't about this train before. After watching that movie and some Pnr's were reflected for Prediction. Then only I came to know that a Train with this name is there. Hey, both 18512/18511 have halts at Simhachalam. Why they didnt officially announced? Sir on dec 18th 2011 17203 covered BZA -RJY (149km) in just 1hr 40 min with stoppage of 10min at RJY outer and loco in charge was ET WAM4 on that day Mar 31 2012 (11:47AM) ↑⇑ ↓⇓ ←→ Begins Falls Rises ™** 10610 blog posts 950 correct pred (65% accurate) ![]() They don't halt there!! :( As per the current timetable, Raam, the fastest train between HWH and BWN, with a scheduled stoppage at BWN, is the 12303 Poorva Express, which takes just 65 mns for a distance of 95 kms, departing from HWH at 8.10 am and arriving at BWN at 9.15 am. I am excluding the Rajdhanis, Durontos and Shatabdi which do not halt at BWN. They do it in a few minutes less than an hour. So not surprising that the Kalka did it in 58 mns that day, even if it was a one-off occurrence. Maybe, I was just plain lucky that day to experience such an AWESOME RIDE at a BREATHTAKING SPEED. Great and it is not SF :) Mar 31 2012 (12:04PM) ↑⇑ ↓⇓ ←→ Begins Falls Rises ™** 10610 blog posts 950 correct pred (65% accurate) ![]() Poorva does a Helm job up to 120kph in that section!! :) 1hr 5mins is easily manageable!! But what u said 58mins for the distance 95kms, its possible when it crosses 125kph!! No... he will be leaving to sc tomorrow.
