I have booked a ticket from Station A to Station C with Station B as my boarding point. Now, due to some last minute changes, can I board the train at Station A? Will I be a treated as a ticketless traveller (I incidentally paid for the fare, though Railways has the right to use A-B leg for some other passenger). Appreciate a response from competent authority or an experienced passenger. Kindly let us avoid guesses, fairness advocacy statements or time pass discussion.
