As you are staying close to DKAE,may i know that few days ago all the trains from SDAH towards HWH BWN Chord Line was made to run diverted via NH-BDC.The reason stated was due to some Non-Interlocking work carried out in DKAE.What type of work was actually carried out & was it anyhow related to the Freight Terminal which is supposed to open in DKAE as the easternmost terminal of the East West Dedicated Freight Corridor?

Sir, I live at Kolkata near Dum Dum Airport.. And the place is nowhere near to Dankuni... Just that I use the line frequently for railfanning gave me the clear concept of the lines, which helped me to draw the diagram.. I am not so sure of the Non- Interlocking works that was carried over the few days...

splendid sir. i agree with pkv sir that its a privilege to be associated with the talented rail fans of our country. i would also like to request arkya to try his hand at the complex KHARAGPUR & NIMPURA yards. i had tried so many times to decipher the area but haven't succeded. i think the simple yet crystal clear style of arkya will be of great interest to rail fans in this regard. again a big THANKS to arkya.
