A VISIT TO PUNE
Hi all,yesterday had been to Pune for a short visit.actually this journey was not planned it was just finalized at the last moment and so i could not mention about it here.
It was 12 PM and i quickly checked for trains.the first train was the 16351 Mumbai CST Nagercoil Balaji express which arrived at thane @12.40 PM.i decided to go for this one and left for Mulund station.reached the station by 12.20 but was shocked to see huge queues at the ticket counters.quickly joined one,the queue was moving slowly and time was running.it was 12.38,i was very near to counter and that time the balaji express passed Mulund.oh i missed the train.now had to change the plan and so decided to go to CST to catch the...

11009 Sinhagad Express so that i could get a seat in a general coach.bought the tickets for CST and went to pf 2 to catch a local.a slow local arrived and it was very crowded but i had to catch it.the local was moving with good speed and finally reached CST at 1.50.now went to the ticket counter brought tickets for pune.the person at the counter told me to go for the 11041 Mumbai Chennai express which was on pf 14 but by the time i reached there it had left.again misses a train.so now had to go back to pf 9 to catch the 11009 Sinhagad Express.went to pf 9 and the train was standing there and i started searching for a seat in the general coaches.the last 3 coaches were full so i moved further to check the nxt 2 coaches.finally got a seat in the 5th last general coach which was just after a CC coach.it was 2pm and trains departure was at 2.30pm and so decided to check the loco and the train.the loco was a Kalyan shed WCAM-3.The coaches were clean and very nicely maintained..the CC coach was full but the second sitting coaches were empty bcoz of more reservations from dadar and thane.while returning to my coach saw the catering people who were loading food.the available items were bread omelette and cutlet.i brought a pack of cutlet and proceeded to my coach.finally at sharp 2.30 PM the train left CST.
