Trains covering the route b/w Delhi and Ahmedabad by various routes , and the respective distances..
1. Delhi-JP-AII-ADI --- 934 kms. Ashram, 19408, 19604, 19264
2. Delhi - JP- AII- GNC-ADI ---- 971 kms 12215, HW-ADI Mail, Only difference from 1 is it takes detour via Gandhinagar
3. Delhi-AII-ADI --- 855 kms...22452, 04512, It bypasses JP between Delhi and Ajmer...the shortest route..
4. Delhi - Kota-BRC-NZM --- 1034 kms, 12918, 12474, 12478, 12476
5. Delhi - JU- ADI - ---1005 kms, 09046, It takes the route via Jodhpur.
The difference
b/w shortest and longest routes comes to be 180 kms or so..
