Reason is more preference towards the Coal Loaded BOXN Rakes which are carrying coal from The Grand Chord Section towards The Thermal Power Plants in Northern India.In Reverse direction,preference is given to the empty wagons for reloading.Also BTPN Rakes carrying Crude Oil & Refined Oil from Numaligarh,Digboi,Duliajan,Barauni & Haldia Refinery in eastern India towards Northern & Western India getting more preference over Janata Exp.

Anyhow I dont think this train serves the purpose of any needy public.The train which doesnt maintain its Time Table round the year,no person in emergency for whatever destination his may be,will use this kind of train.Its running mainly as a Blue Parcel Van Service b/w HWH & DLI.Any Goods(Parcel) train if covers 1500 km in 2 days also,will cause no harm.

I think regularly 5-6 HCPV's are attached with this train,which serves as a necessity for parcel transportation b/w these two Metro Cities.Otherwise,no train b/w HWH & DLI has dedicated HCPV's attached to it apart from Janata & Lal Quilla....So an Exp which may seem useless to you may be serving a very good purpose which you're not aware of.Separate Parcel Van Service is there b/w PNBE & DLI,so dedicated train is required b/w HWH & DLI.
