I want to book from ambala to delhi and from delhi to kanpur central on same date and same train Onward journey ticket can booked from PRS counter. If you go for eticket you have to book 2 separate ticket without telescopic fare benefit. Why two tickets, You can book directly from ambala to kanpur as you want to travel in the same train and same date. My reply was for two separate train. He might be doing it for quota benefit That will be 2 separate tickets and no benefit of telescopic fare. You can do it from internet as well since you are not getting telescopic fare benefit. So I think it is possible in PRS. He can also get the benefit of telescopic fare. He has to fill ticket from Ambala to Kanpur Reservation from Ambala to Delhi, In onward journey again with same train number Delhi to Kanpur. But two separate seats will be issued to him. Telescopic fare is not given if it is the same train. I am not sure, i have never done this kind of journey ticket, But took tickets in 2 separate trains with telescopic benefit. |
