From Shalimar, the next train is at 12:20 Secunderabad Express, that too only on friday.. So a slot could easily be given to this train between 08:30 to 11:00... Though there are numerous EMUs, yet they are made to run through the Main Up.. And the Expresses follow the Up Reverse.. And as a matter of fact, till there was night restriction on the KGP-TATA stertch, Samaleshwari used to run just behind the Mumbai/ Pune Duronto.. That slot could easily be given to the SHM-MAS Express... If that is the case, let it start after coromandel. Nothing harm. There isn't much crowd @ VSKP either in that time and from MAS, it's free anyways. I think a line is cleared in 2-3 minutes. So, the number of trains in India can be made multiple with the same signalling system applied, at least theoretically. But the causes of being late like strikes, accidents should be eliminated completely. All railway road croossing should be made on top of pillars. Wherever railway track is close to field,fence should be made for safety of cows and trains. arkya,you have missed the point that,one line is almost busy with shunting the dozens of trains that have poured in at hwh early morning...they are being shunted to santragachi continuously from hwh using third line...this train from santragachi could be a possibility but again connectivity issues at src... I am talking about the 64 kms route of SRC- Panskura stretch.. Afterall, the SHM lines also meet at SRC.. well 8.40 wd b a gd time i agree,bt as pradyu rightly pointed out,two precious working days wasted... IR would allot the train the same slot as that of the Special.. :-) so now this train will share its slot with- 1.12756 hlz mas sangrami express on saturdays 2.22603 kgp villupuram weekly express on wednesdays and 3.22605 prr villupuram weekly express on mondays... So four days a week coneectivity of kgp to bza established... As kgp villupuram scheduled to be twice weekly this budget,so in a few months five days a week...great going... |
