Today is 1st of May and WR's one of the prime and much beloved train 12921/22 Mumbai-Surat Flying Ranee completes it's 75th year of service and completes the Diamond Jubilee. It is as famous today as it was earlier. There are number of trains to go Mumbai on morning but, majority people suggests only 'Ranee' from Surat. Students, daily commuters, businessmen, children and all people loves 'Ranee' a lot and it feels some different to journey in a double-decker rake.
An H class 4 - 6 - 0 used to haul the Queen to her destination in 4 hours. Today, the WCAMs, WAPs and WAMs do it in 45 minutes more. This may be due to the increased traffic and halts.
