That extra 150 rs they will get free food. Any ways what i mean to say is duranto type special means non stop. So it may not have same fare structure as regular duranto train.

dont worry. it will only reach in the evening.
travelled in this train in May 2001. left howrah at 2330 hrs (day 1)... was supposed to reach SBC at 1100 hr (day 3). reached around 1900 hrs. train got delayed a lot of times as the students used to get down at whichever station the trains stops and roam about. and then the guard had to run from one end to the other to get them back on train. for example, somewhere around renigunta where there was single line, the train was waiting for a crossing. and some students went down to a nearby garden full of mango trees. the TTE/guard had a hard time in trying to get them back on train again. sounds insane but its true. and i dont have any evidence here. the return journey, train was

to leave at 2230 hrs (day 1) from SBC, left around 30 mins late. reached hwh on day 3 around 1800 hrs (around 6-7 hrs late).
the biggest problem i noticed them was there was no pantry and this train doesnt usually stop at bigger stations and instead is kept waiting at smaller stations for overtake. this creates a lot of problem in getting food

When they can accept the task of studying Engineering under V.T.U.,leaving pretty easier W.B.U.T.,then arriving in the Evening & attending an M.C.Q. Paper next day morning @ 10.00 is not at all a difficult task.Anyways,COMEDK is not at all a serious exam,I had given in 2009,its much easier than our State Level Joint Entrance Test.In Physics & Chemistry very few Numerical Questions are asked.By Scoring 108/180(Cumulatively),a student is expected to secure good enough rank to get admitted into the first row colleges(RV,PESIT,BMS,MSRIT) in Bangalore, that too with CSE/ECE.COMEDK is set up just to attract a bunch of students & their parents,The parents also fall prey to those greedy people,& think that they wouldn't have to spend Rs 10-15 Lakhs as donation towards Bangalore Colleges.Anyways, once admitted, the College is going to make the parents bankrupt.
