::::TRIP EXPERIENCE:::::
Had a small train journey in 12484 from Ambala Cant to New Delhi to board a flight at IGI Delhi scheduled at 1630 hrs,...So had choice to book in trains passing thro New Delhi only...not Old Delhi...so target was to take a train so as to arrive NDLS before 1400 hrs..to have enough time for boarding the Airport Metro express...reach Airport and do all formalities etc.
The choice was b/w 12058, 12716, 14732 and 12484, but 14732 was ruled out as it does not touch NDLS. Since I had earlier travelled in 12058 and 12716, the obvious choice was 12484,,,,with as usual excitement of boarding a new train for first time ever...

Now the train arrived on time[+/-5 minutes] at PF#1 at UMB....and the loco incharge was GZB WAP-1#22044,,, THE LOCO ARRIVE WITH HEAD HELD HIGH, AS it has been allotted PF#1.The coaches were pretty old, with GS coaches followed by S1 and S2 followed by GS, and then A1, B1, PC followed by other sleeper coaches - a total of 9 sleeper coaches..
There was unusual attachment of GS coach in between S1-S2 and other Coaches..The train had 5 minutes longer halt, as there was lot of luggage being loaded in the SLRs.
the train had its main name-board on 3 languages - Eng, Hindi and Punjabi, while some coaches had Malyalam name-boards too..!
The train slowly starting chugging out, and without exerting much, carried on with journey, as it had 12716 Sachkhand Express, moving ahead of it with lot of stoppages..
The train had 2-3 slowdowns at Karnal, Panipat, and thro' Delhi areas, but never stopped completely until it entered Delhi area.
On he way, had few passing trains at high speeds, of which I could notice one only 1- a passenger departing from PNP towards branch line of Rohtak/Bhiwani.. with a BALDIE,,..
While entering the Delhi area, the first noticable train was Mandore Express parked at Sabzi Mandi.This was followed by New Delhi Farakka Express, empty rake being pulled into NDLS fron the lines b/w Sabzi Mandi and Sadar Bazar. Another one being taken to NDLS was Sampoorna Kranti Exp..with YDM..
And then, the outer of NDLS, where lot of WAPs nad WDMs/WDPs are parked around..
In NDLS, the train ushered in PF#3, while PF#2 was occupied by 12191 Shridham Express, being getting ready for departure,,,,

Thats the end of short and sweet train journey..which was followed by Airport Metro journey,.!
