For the last 4 years, India Rail Info has been maybe one of a handful of websites in the world, and the ONLY Indian website that has carried absolutely NO ads. This situation may change as we look to attain long-term sustainability. But, even if and when ads are introduced, there will be a uniqueness to it - something that our users will actually enjoy, rather than be annoyed. Popup ads go against the basic philosophy of this site, and will NEVER be introduced - EVER. As of now, there are NO ads on IRI.
However, it has come to our notice that some of our users are seeing popup ads. These ads do NOT belong to IRI. They may have been placed there by your own software...

Users typically expect Web pages to load quickly on their computer screens. Web pages that don't load quickly run the risk of losing users. A user will click out of a slow-loading site often and not return.........at least i wont.

Idea is good. But, I would suggest we can take donations/supports to run the show. Ads will divert our attention from the main course. I offer to pay the domain renewal charges for next 5 years. (since, I am immensely benefited from this site, not monetarily but due to ease in operations), More importantly, I do not wish to be Admin or Mod.
