We(Me N Viswanath) took our Positions for Capturing Simhadri Express Which was Coming from SLO Side. i was standing next to the track
towards SLO,Heard the WAP 7 Screaming from the other end.All of a Sudden,the signal turned from red to Yellow.i quickly Came to the Centre
of both the tracks And Captured the DEADLY Crossings of LGD Brothers.
.Crossings of both trains had relative speed of 180+
.
Much About Simhadri Express:
Simhadri Express was introduced as a day time train b/w VSKP & RJY in 1970's, RSA 7/8 HYB VSKP GOdavari Express.
IT Got Extended to Bhimavaram after getting it's own coaches.the train was then extended to narsapur.further extended
to GUntur With Slip Coaches being Attached & Detacned at Nidadavolu JN

Simhadri Express (17239/40) belongs to guntur division of South Central Railways.Base Maintainance at GNT.
The train is named after God Simhadri Appana,Simhachalam.

17239 Covers 381 Kms in 9 hours 50 minutes at an avg speed of 38 KMPH with 23 Halts.
17240 Covers the same distance in 8 hours 20 minutes at avg Speed of 46 KMPH with 24 Halts.
