does anyone here know how berths are allocated to a particular passenger?how is da process?
i hav booked this morning 5 tickets of 12221 Pune-Hwh Duronto exp for 18th of June...availability of dat day is still showing Avbl-58..in those 5tickets,2 were Sr.Citizen and one of them is woman aged 70...and still they hav allocated an Upper berth to her..no lower berth has been allocated to any of the 5tkts..completely disappointed with the system.!
Is there any website or online complaint book where I can express my dissatisfaction before actual journey?

There is NO Such that Senior Citizens will be given LB if they are present in a group.
In that case Railways have to allocate all LB's present to Senior Citizens.
However Senior Citizens can get LB when they are booked thru Single Tickets Seperately.
Pls book Single tickets for both the Senior Citizens.Ask the CRS to try giving same Coach preference for both the Seniors as that of other 3 passengers.

Cancel just couple of tickets and book a single ticket for senior citizens separately then you will get lower berths.If you cancel all the tickets you may lose more money on it
