Hi All,
I want to know that should I change my boarding station for reservation?
I have reserved a ticket from Delhi (NZM) to Ahmedabad for train 12918.
Now, for the same train for same day, I want to board in from Mathura instead of Nizzamudin.
Please let me know whether is it possible or not.

Yes, it is possible. You can change it from any PRS.

You have to change boarding point from Delhi to Mathura before 24 hours of departure of train from its origin. Visit PRS with ticket and photo ID proof for change of Boarding point.

What is the procedure to change this?
Or should I board in directly from Mathura directly without informing to railway.
We feared that if we will not board in from delhi the TC may be cancel out our seats and can give to RAC.

Yeah definitely you need to change boarding point. Otherwise TTE may allot the berth to RAC/WL passengers citing no show of the confirmed passengers. Visit FAQ section for more details on change of boarding point.

You have change the Boarding Point from PRS, It will be reflected on the Reservation chart, Then you can board the train from mathura, You can check the change in PNR status.
