A TRIP REPORT FROM BILASPUR TO MADHUPUR

As I reached bilaspur 17.50 at Pf-1 by 12151 samarsatta express.Then spend some times at Pf-1 then proceeded towards enquiry counter where I enquired about bilaspur patna special and they told me that it will depart from Pf.1 at 19.00.Then I again came to Pf.1 and started waiting for my train.A announcement made that bilaspur patna express will now depart from Pf-4.Then I proceeded towards pf-4 at around 16.30 and started waiting at Pf-4.Then at 18.55 a Raipur WDM-3a bring the rake at Pf-4.My berth was 48,S-4 and entered the train the train was dark and I founded my seat with the help of a torch.After sometime light switched on and got a relief from the heating weather.i adjusted my luggage below my seat

and started waiting for train to start.The loco incharge was a Bhilai WAM-4 and CC was LOCO_SLR_GEN_GEN_GEN_S8_S7_S6_S5_S4_S3_S2_S1_B3_B2_B1_A1_GEN_GEN_GEN_SLR.
The train departed at 19.15 and started running at a good speed it passed Akaltara and Naila and first stop was chanpa.From bilaspur my coach was vacant and only 12 persons were there but at champa and raigarh train become full and also some waiting list passenger were there upto .Train was runnig at good speed and was running like a Super fast.At raigarh I went to sleep and at 3.10 am when I woke I was at TATANAGAR.I deborded there and had a cup of coffee at TATANAGAR some waiting list passenger were searching TTE but could not find as upto tata no TTE come to check the ticket.From TATA train departed at 3.40 then I again went to sleep and when I woke it was passing damodar river then comes burnpur and here train halted for 35 minutes and departed at 6.55am and reached asansol at 7.10.after 30 minute halt at asansol train departed at asansol at 7.40 and again running at good speed and then comes chittranjan after 2 min halt at chittranjan train started and reached madhupur 8.55 am only 25 late.
Conclusion:
1)Overall good train occupancy was good.
2)speed was good and also stoppages were less.
3)only 25 minute late by a special is really impressive.
4)No food no catering was there as it was special so it is a problem but after it become daily this problem will be solved I think
5)Good timing and good overnight train.

I did not clicked photos due to I had a VGA camera mobile C2-00 and also most of the time was speeping for this time and my berth was side upper.

After reaching at madhupur at 8.55 I proceeded towards Pf-1 and found that the next train to giridih is at 12.15 noon.3 hour 20 minute is a long time to wait then I proceeded towards the reservation counter where I passed my one hour by filling some reservation forms of some people because many people at this place is unaware of how to fill the reservation form.then i went to a hotel to have a breakfast just outside the staion and then return back to platform number-1 from where madhupur giridih passenger will depart.In between trains like rajdhni express janshatabdi express dhanbad patna express amritsar howrah express came and departed thes time rajdhani was on time and runnig with 3 ac first class.Then akaltakht and danapur tata arrived.Also from

giridih GIRIDIH-MADHUPUR passenger arrived.the same rake is secheduled to return back at 12.15.When the train become vacant I boarded the train in general compartment as all the coaches of this train is general.At 12.00 noon engine was attached to our train and at 12.15 dot it departed and after five stopages Sugapahari1, sugapahari2 ,jagdishpur,krishna ballabh sahay halt,and maheshmunda irt reached giridih at 13.10 and here i deboarded and my journey finishes here.

So my 1171 km journey completed in 26 hour with 2 transfers at an average speed of 45.0384 kmph.

No .. Quality is very good..see vga is as good as pictures on television set.. Only jf u view these pics on full hd monitor then only u can tell that they have low details

Great one.. So at ASN, your train had a loco reversal.. My question is- did the same BIA WAM-4 carry your train from ASN onwards, or did a different loco did the work??

Very less buses and they are limited and difficult to get seat as they come from dumka and it is not comfortable and also I had lots of luggage so waited.
