20 minutes late running 18627 Howrah (HWH)- Ranchi (RNC) Tri-Weekly INTER CITY Express (via Dhanbad, Asansol) headed by its customary link 20661 TATA shed WAM-4 cruises through the Up Main line at Madhusudanpur on HB Chord enroute. It was leading the 11448 Howrah (HWH)- Jabalpur (JBP) SHAKTIPUNJ Express by 7 minutes.
As a piece of info, this is the only SER train to ply on the ER territory. Even no other SER loco frequently visits ER (through ER's HWH WAP-4 is a common visitor to SER).. Ego problem of big brother HWH not to allow small sister SRC to ply into...

18627/ 18628 Howrah (HWH)- Ranchi (RNC) Tri-Weekly INTER CITY Express runs on sunday, monday and tuesday, and follows ER's Howrah- Burdwan- Asansol- Dhanbad- Bokaro Steel City- Muri- Ranchi route.
18617/ 18618 Howrah (HWH)- Ranchi (RNC) Tri-Weekly INTER CITY Express runs on thursday, friday and saturday, and follows SER's Howrah- Kharagpur- Tatanagar- Purulia- Muri- Ranchi route.
These two trains have RSA, and the base coach depot is under the hands of SER. So it gets an SER loco as well, in lieu of the fact that either it runs on ER or SER.
