How does Tatkal Waiting Proceed with respect to General Waiting.
Let me explain:
Pune Mumbai train has 96 tkts reserved for tatkal and 960 general tkts.
Ram has general quota WL #2 ticket
Sham has tatkal quota WL#2 ticket.
Who has higher chances of getting tkt?
Is it that Tatkal waiting is filled ONLY by tatkal cancellations?

Either Tatkal or General WL gets cleared due to cancellations within the respective quota till chart preparation. During chart preparation, while allocating vacancies in other un-availed quota, tatkal is likely to be given preference. Recently there was an official announcement to the effect that whenever extra coaches are added, Tatkal WL would be given preference.
