Read more... sorry sir, the 8 digit password (One time password) is not applicable in case of irctc where direct debits are made. it is also not sent in case of telephone, electricity bills etc by SBI Internet Banking. Today, again I was successfully able to make payment through SBP Netbanking payment gate way by 0810 hrs but could not get the ticket even after 0820 hrs. I will never try SBP Netbanking for tatkal booking. Credit card and other bank's netbanking is better than SBI. Well, u can try updating ur browser, deleting cache and cookies. Better use chrome or firefox. It wil help. I use the latest version of GC and regularly clear my history. This has happened twice with me. It would have been better if opted for the credit card payment gateway. Even I felt SBI net banking is better. Not too many questions and passwords on the way. One login and you are out of PG. I tried with CITI credit Card its equally OK for me. No issues with SBI net banking for me.Only one password. HDFC net banking works fine.I use IE9 for txns and success rate is high. PS:I switch to IE9 for IRCTC txns and get back to Chrome for browsing IRI. Happy with SBI netbanking.:-) using hdfc netbanking, no major issues since netbanking started 7-8 years ago.. I have also not felt any problem with SBI Netbanking except tatkal booking opening hour. It works very fast during rest of the day. I experienced from the forum and also thought that since credit card payment gateway has so many steps and to query from so many times from server it will more time to generate ticket. I have also used axis netbanking and works very fine. I thought that SBI Payment Gateway are having less steps and I will be able to generate ticket very fast after payment confirmation.
