is it PRS or E tkt ? if etkt hv u clkd d option book only atlease 1 LB is booked ?

Once I got SMB in 6222 kaveri from MAS to SBC. fortunately on that day some vaccant berths were there in 3tier a/c i imm. conatacted A/c TTE and upgraded myself.. choose UB,paid diff. in fare for which he gave slip. happliy slept

I got similar type of berth in HWH-DBG Exp and more tahn 300 berths were available.Booked from PRS:-(

its not fault of irctc.
Indian railway database has only 8 seat structure.
they will provide you seat in 3+3+2 shape.
but , in the train, garib rath the structure is changed. so you have to count the seat no .
like 9 = LB is normal trains, But SU for GR
during booking no option of SM, so, you can not opt SM. its always by luck.
just look at the berth preference pop up for garib rath

e-tkt. is it necessary when 538 berths avl?

i got similar berth in 12736 but luckily a stranger sent by god save me from suprises
