sir,should i suggest you something? though there are high chances of confirmation,but if you want confirm berth,you may cancel the ticket and book upto kgp on the same day...a few more bucks and the ticket is confirmed...

With 23 berths AVL,if he books now surely they'll allot a S.U.B. for him.Better to wait for PQWL to confirm....Otherwise if his seat doesnt get confirmed,he can register complaint Against Rlys in Consumer Forum for Rlys Shameless business.
just a matter of 60-70 rupees and tension free travel...

Encouraging a passenger to book a ticket & keep it booked for the Unused portion of his travel itinerary is strictly prohibited in this website.If any Admin wants to advice accordingly,then he may do so by sending a PVT post & not in Open Forum.Rlys PRS System is far more intelligent to keep CTC under PQWL so that maximum benefit may be provided to passengers travelling in SER zone,as this is a train primarily connecting SR to SER.In this way,a passenger willing to travel genuinely till KGP/HWH may not get a confirmed accomodation(for whom the train is actually meant).If people from E.Co.R zone thinks that the quota earmarked for them is too less,they may apply to Rail Board for dedicated trains from TVC to BBS/CTC,but certainly they cant snatch away berths for HWH/KGP.
