This is one of good trains from HWH(SHM) to VSKP/MAS and TVC.
But, HWH MAS mail starts one hour behind the schedule of this train but over takes before BLS itself.
how many unofficial halts are there for this train before mail over takes?
Also, this train travels much more distance than what Mail does and has lesser stops too.
Why is the speed compromised and made it to run behind MAIL, JUST BEHIND MAIL.

but why do you want it to overtake mas mail? Mas mail has been running from years, same with shm tvc,but not as old as mail...about 5-6 years back, when mas mail was not under ser and not a superfast, shm tvc used to run from hwh and ran ahead of mas mail...now station changed...zones changed...train numbers changed...slot changed...passengers the same...mas mail being a daily superfast ought to go ahead anyways...

Its nothing like it has to overtake Mail but what it is the simply following the tail of MAS Mail when there are no halts either. I have traveled in this very same train from VSKP MAS and every time I notice it halts @ every unwanted station outers and it is because mail has a scheduled halt in that station.
Either regulate the TT by giving halts or a one time deal to make it run ahead of mail. Please compare the TT and you can know easily.

Yeah, Mail over takes all the trains in this slot @ KGP and blocks it till GDR/MAS.

well there are many trains that run kissing each others tails right from origin to their destination...if the tail is put ahead of the head...the problems will remain the same...shm tvc, being a non superfast was bound to be slow, but thanks to its non aggressive timings,it still runs aggressively...every year we see a few minutes timings change...may be ur wish is heard and this train will lead mas mail from this year...but to be true, the chances are as feeble as me meeting miss mallika sherawat at cannes festival...

but mas mail has the max no of stoppages 32 in hwh-mas route than shalimar tvc exp nd pnbe ernakulam train but the time taken is same as speed of mail is more than the two trains, mail is a very-2 prestigious train i this route no one dares to overtake the hwh-mas mail even if the train is running late it will cover distance i hv seen this train coming 1 hour before the original time @ chennai central, thoug its really amazing that train of superfast status having too much stops but timetaken is same as of other trains

I think 6324 should overtake 12839 between BZA and MAS.

Well, I felt so. 10 mins is nothing when compared to over take. Once, I think this train halted @ Pitahpuram(before SLO) and mail was @ SLO.
And we reached RJY of PF2 and mail was leaving from PF1. So, I thought, It would over take some where in the route. Then the I observed TT and realized that it simply follows for no reason.
The speed is really low. Just 2 stops between VSKP and MAS.

and mail has 8 stops and 6324 has 1 stop i itself amazed how two trains r taking same time and mail is overtaking,i think mail is running at high speed between stops so that 8 stops would not affect the travelling time

The overtake is because of this simple reason Mail is a SF while this train is an exp. SFs get more preference than exp. Also the journey time difference is roughly two hours which I feel is mandatory to show the difference between SF and exp while running neck to neck.
