Blog Entry# 458028 Posted: Jun 18 2012 (8:35PM) 3 Responses Last Response: Jun 18 2012 (8:58PM) what is the procedure to be followed incase there is no ac in ac3 compartment of any train. in the ac3 bogie b3 of kerala exp which left new delhi on 20 may the ac was not functioning. on complaining to the mechanic he was seen to be trying to do something and the journey continued as after 1600-1700 hrs the climate outside was bearable and passengers did not complain. next day before the train reached vijayawada complaint was given to tte and he in turn passed it to vijayawada stn. written complaint was given to asst stn master vijyawada and without any rectification the train was flagged off. passengers pulled the chain and train was stopped. but the tecnician reset the alarm and train moved on and repair was promised at gudur/guntur (dont know the exact name). all the time the mechanic was telling it will be ok by... Obtain certificate from the TTE /Conductor in case of A.C.FAILURE,This original certificate must be sent to GGM (IT), IRCTC Ltd.,Internet Ticketing Centre, IRCA Building, State Entry Road, New Delhi-110055 after filing on-line refund request for claiming refund for e-ticket. and the refund will be the difference of fares of sleeper and class 3a... Right sir..I guess for PRS he has submit this at along with ticket at refunds dept. near by and wait for refund thru post. |
