by rule you have to board at the original boarding point mentioned in ticket but as per practice tte waits for one station before re-allotting the seat to other passenger, so you can take a chance as pune is next stop after LNL

do you know whether it is acceptable in this route. I know I can book a ticket from VSKP and board at AKP without any problem( quota is also same in this case). But for LNL and PUNE, quotea also is different. any specific info you have?

bookings from pune get into pune quota whereas lnl go to General quota, but for boarding,as pune is next stop after LNL, the berth "may" not be re-allotted

I was traveling on 11106 on 15th june from JHS to PNBE. there I saw one lady have seat just before me but due to some delayed to reach station she was board in S4 and she was comeing to B1 but passage was locked of B1 so she waited for next stoppage. But till that time TTE allotted birth to RAC. but after discussing TTE arranged the other seat. I mean to say that this is rule that TTE should wait till next officical stoppage. But it totally depend on TTE to TTE I think quota will not play much role.
