Normally, any unreserved journey ticket purchased across the UTS counter is valid till the departure of the last train in that route (not valid on MMTS tickets where they give only 2hours for the ticket holder to perform journey). Departure of last train means the class for which ticket is purchased should match with the train type. For example, purchasing a passenger train ticket and boarding a express train later will not be considered.
