Blog Entry# 460335 Posted: Jun 21 2012 (11:50AM) 8 Responses Last Response: Jun 21 2012 (12:30PM) What is the rule for entering platform bearing a journey ticket? You should arrive at the platform before train departure. This is a standard rule. thanks chaube ji for the reply We can enter before how many hours of train time and can stay for how many hours after train reaching the destination. The platform ticket is increased to Rs5/- where as the minimum journey ticket is Rs2/-, So I want to know is it possible that any person who enters to the platform taking a journey ticket and finish his work and leave the platform. Subject to departure of next train whom ticket has been purchased. The person may not be able to catch the train and can return back. I want to know the specific rule for the same, can anybody provide that. Normally, any unreserved journey ticket purchased across the UTS counter is valid till the departure of the last train in that route (not valid on MMTS tickets where they give only 2hours for the ticket holder to perform journey). Departure of last train means the class for which ticket is purchased should match with the train type. For example, purchasing a passenger train ticket and boarding a express train later will not be considered. |
