That is the worse part of PRS tickets. He can travel with WL ticket in general compartment(by paying reservation charges). It is better to cancel it and travel with an open ticket which is 1/3 cheaper. To cancel the same he has to stand in the queue again. As per my knowledge, If any WL passenger found travelling in reserved coaches, he will be detrained from the coach,If the TTE is strict on his duty. Ofcourse there are exceptions,but i am talking as per rules. |
